The Theme for this was to highlight a favourite product from the new Annual Catalogue, now I did not go for the obvious, like The Hand Penned Suite, Expressions In Ink, The Flowers and Friendship Bundle, just to name a few. I have just recently purchased the Hand Penned Suite and can't wait to play with it, I have a Wishlist as long as my arm, if not longer, I just want it all.
I have chosen to showcase the Elegantly Said bundle, I did this for the Annual catalogue launch with a group of other demonstrators called the CREATE TOGETHER STAMPERS. When I got the suite I just didn't know where to start or what to do with it, but as I played along with it I came up with a few ideas and I was pretty pleased with myself. Below are the cards I created using this suite. I have done heaps with this suite but here are my favourites. I used the beautiful DSP that comes in this suite for two of the cards and the other two cards I used Black & Gold emboss powder. All the products that I used are listed below.
The first card I fussy cut the flowers from the DSP and adhered it to the card layer that I dry embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder, the sentiment I stamped with versamark and heat set the white emboss powder, I fussy cut the sentiment and used mini dimensionals, I die cut the fancy edge using the die from the PEONY DIES, I die cut two pieces, 1each from the copper and silver foil ( the Silver foil is now retired but we all have some in our stash).
For my second card I backed up the DSP with Gold foil cardstock, I stamped the flower image and the sentiment with versamark and applied gold emboss powder and heat set it, and then to finish off I embellished the flower image with the Simply Elegant gold trim.
For my third and fourth card they are pretty much the same, I used different emboss powders as you can see from the image above, I stamped the intricate lace image x2 with versamark applied gold emboss/ black emboss powder and heat set it, I then fussy cut the 2 lace images. The black embossed card I decided to just add the sentiment, and for the gold card I stamped the sentiment and the flower image on basic white cardstock .I die cut both sentiments using the STITCHED SO SWEETLY DIES, to finish off I embellished the flower image with the SIMPLY ELEGANT GOLD TRIM bow.
I hope you liked my cards, please leave a comment. Thank you all for stopping by, see you at the next hop.
Hugs,
Fiona.
