Hand Penned Pocket Card

I made this Pocket Card for my Facebook live today, I used the beautiful Hand Penned Designer Series Paper, the whole suite is absolutely beautiful, below are details of my project.

Cardstock or Designer Series Paper: Pale Papaya or DSP 12" x 6", scored at 3" and at 9"

Card Insert : 5 3/4 " x 5 1/2 "

Scrap pieces of cardstock for the decorative edge, you need 3 pieces and for the stamped flower image.

1. Apply a thin line of glue in the centre bottom panel, and fold both the side panels to the centre to form a pocket.

2. Adhere the 3 decorative die cuts and space them out evenly across the envelope.

3. Stamp the large flower image on scrap piece of Basic White cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black ink, I then used Pale Papaya and Garden Green Inks to stamp the solid images to fill in the flowers and leaves.

4. Then die cut the flower image with the Penned Flowers Dies ( I did lose it when I was doing my Facebook live so I had to fussy cut the Flower image, do you lose your craft stuff while crafting, I always do)

5. I embellished the flower centres with the Matte Black Dots, for my sample I used Genial Gems that come with the suite.

6. I adhered the flower image to the centre of the card insert and stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment.

7. To finish off I tied a bow using the Pale Papaya open weave ribbon along with Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon, which gave the bow a much fuller look.

Below are the list of products I used to make this project.
