It's FiFi Friday I used Vellum for my projects today.

Hi my Crafty friends, today on my Facebook Live I made this card using vellum, I stamped the flower image from the FLORAL ART stamp set with Coastal cabana ink on the reverse side of the vellum, so that it looks muted. I then stamped with Bermuda Bay to add shading to the flower, a tip I'd like to share, when stamping on vellum the ink takes a while to dry, wait in between stamping, preferably overnight. I have tried taking a scrap piece of paper and placing it over the inked image and running my hands over it to soak up the excess ink but I haven't been very successful in stopping the image from smudging. I coloured the Crinkled seam binding ribbon with dark Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends and tied it in the centre. Below are the measurements for the card and the candle.

Card Base: Basic White Cardstock 8 1/4  x 5 7/8 score at 4 1/8
Vellum use the same measurements as the Basic white cardstock.

Vellum for the Candle 9 x 5 1/8.

I liked how it turned out, so simple but so effective, a nice gift to give someone. Please note the candle I used was for demonstration and decorative purposes only, so if you want to make this as a gift for someone there are flameless candles now available and you can still use the same concept to decorate the flameless candle.
