Hi there my crafty friends so great to be back here crafting with my Blogging Friend this month's theme is HIPPITY HOPPITY EASTER'S ON IT'S WAY, I made a W Fun Fold card and quite happy with how the card turned out, I used the SPRINGTIME JOY Stamp set, below are the details of the card.
Card Base : Seaside Spray cardstock 4 1/8 x 11 3/4 score in half @ 5 7/8
Top Layer : Whisper White cardstock measuring 4 x 5 1/2 die cut using Ornate Frame dies
Inside layers : 2 pieces @ 5 5/8 x 3 7/8
W Fold mechanism 1 piece Seaside spray 1 x 11 1/2 , fold in half and bring each end to the centre and fold again to form a W fold, use a bone folder to burnish well (its easier to do the fold this way than measuring in 16th's and 8's.)
4 pieces Seaside Spray : 2 1/2 x 2 3/4
4 pieces Whisper White : 2 1/2 x 2 3/4
Scrap pieces of different shades of green for the Sprigs, I used the Sprig Punch
Scrap piece of Soft Suede for basket, stamp 2 images, and 1 more image on a scrap of whisper white cardstock, I used one of the images as the base and used a bone folder and curved the basket to give it some dimension, with basket image from the whisper white cardstock I cut out the eggs in the basket and coloured it using Stampin' Blends and with the last image I cut the handle and used a shaping tool again to give the handle some dimension.
I punched several sprigs from different shades of green using the Sprig punch, I die cut 4 circles using the Layering circle dies, and I arranged the springs on the circle to form a wreathe, I then adhered the Bird and Eggs and the Basket I used dimensionals.
For the inside I stamped the images from the SPRINGTIME JOY and the FLOWERS AND FIELDS stamp set. The sentiment the word HAPPY I stamped using the PRETTY PERENIALS stamp set and the word EASTER from SPRINGTIME JOY.
I cut 5 thin strips of Soft Suede cardstock about 1/16 to 1/8 inch and adhered it to the top edge of the basket and about 4 thin strips to the left of the basket and did a basket weave, I then adhered it to the basket using silicone, (paper tole technique) and then adhered the eggs to the back of the basket.
I die cut the bird and the eggs using the BIRDS & MORE DIES.
Pretty card!
