Fiona Rozario: Blogging Friends Blog Hop Red Hot Love

Hi My Crafty Friends, I'm back after a two month absence from the Blog Hop, I had too much going on it didn't stop me from crafting though, but I'm happy to be back with my Blogging Friends, The theme for this month is RED HOT LOVE apt for the month of February, the challenge was to use shades of Red and White, Grey & black as accents only. I chose Real Red cardstock, below are details of the card.

Card Base: Real Red cardstock

Top Layer: 5 5/8 x 3 7/8 or 14.4 cm x 10 cm embossed using the Parisian Flourish embossing folder.

Card Insert: Whisper white cardstock 5 5/8 x 3 7/8 or 14.4 cm x 10 cm

Scrap pieces of Real Red cardstock for the die cut hearts, using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits

Scrap piece of Basic Black cardstock I die cut the word love, using the Always Dies.

I stamped the word YOU with versamark and applied Black emboss powder and heat set it.

I cut a piece of the Real Red double stitched statin ribbon enough to attach it behind the top layer, at the top and bottom , I then took another piece of ribbon and tied a bow.

The two die cut hearts I sponged the edges with momento Black ink , I adhered one heart onto the ribbon and the other I popped it up using dimensionals, I then adhered the word Love onto the hearts.

I stamped three hearts from the Meant to Be stamp set using the Real Red Ink on the card insert.
