Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights

 

Hi my crafty friends, here I am yet again taking part in Kylie's monthly International Blog highlights. Every month demonstrators from all over the world take part in the monthly hop, we get to create a thank you card and the cards with the highest votes get to craft with the lovely Kylie Bertucci at the end of the month. I hope to make it into the top 10. I would appreciate it if you took the time to vote for my card, tomorrow when this hop goes live the gallery will be filled with inspiration and beautiful ideas. 

For my card today, I used the beautiful TRUE LOVE Designer Series Paper, I just love this paper and the whole  LOVE YOU ALWAYS suite.

1. Cut card base - Whisper White Thick cardstock  5 7/8 x 8 1/4 and score and fold in half
2. Layer 1 - Blushing Bride cardstock  measuring 5 5/8 x 3 7/8
3. Top Layer - Whisper White cardstock measuring  5 1/2 x 3 3/4
4. True Love DSP - 5 1/2 x 1 1/2
5. Card Insert - Whisper White cardstock measuring 5 1/2 x 3 3/4
6. True Love DSP 1/4 x 5 1/2  
7. Stamp Thank You sentiment ( I used versamark and applied Black Stampin' emboss powder which is now retired) however you can get the same effect, by stamping the sentiment with both Momento black ink and Versamark and then applying Clear Stampin' emboss powder.
8. Adhere DSP to the whisper white layer, and the attach ribbon to cover the edge of the DSP.
9. Adhere all the layers to the card base.
10. Then embellish with a bow and matte black dots.
11. Finish the inside of the card adhere the DSP strip about 1/8 from the bottom of the insert
