Fiona Rozario: Monochromatic Insta Hop- Boho Blue

First time taking part in an Instagram hop, this hop is run by The Crafty Collaborations team. The colour for this weeks challenge is Boho Blue and I love this colour.

I created this card during my Facebook live on 16th of January, and it didn't take long to put together. I made a very simple card with no layers, I couldn't believe, I love to layer my cards but I think this time I was able to pull it off without having to add much to it.

I used the Softly Sophisticated stamp, which is a Sale-A-Bration item that can be earned FREE with a qualifying purchase of $180 along with the textured floral dies to create my card.

I die cut the leaf image from a scrap of Boho Blue, do not throw away the negative.

I stamped the leaf image with versamark and heat set it with white emboss powder, I also stamped the flower image with versamark on a scrap piece of Boho Blue cardstock and heat set it with clear emboss powder. I fussy cut the leaf and flower image and kept it aside.

I took the leaf negative and used it as a stencil, I placed it at the bottom right corner of the card base and used the blending brush and applied the boho blue ink, I then arranged the flower and leaf image along with the die cut leaf and adhered it to the card base.

I created two cards, one with and without the stencil.
