Fiona Rozario: Colour INKspiration Challenge 158 #CI158

Hello everyone, welcome to Colour INKspiration for 2024.

This challenge is run twice a month. Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. (AEST) a new colour swatch is uploaded to the Colour INKspiration Facebook group. The group is run by talented Australian and New Zealand Stampin'Up! demonstrators.

Below is the colour palette for this challenge which was chosen by the Colour INKspiration team member Lou Kitzelman.

I love the colours in this challenge and it didn't take me long to come up with a card, I went for something plain and simple and added a little bit of dimension to the card.

I stamped and die cut my images using the colours above.

I then used the Basic Borders dies and die cut my top layer creating two pieces.

I adhered a scrap piece of Fresh Freesia onto the card base.

I put foam adhesive to the back of the top half of the top layer to give some added dimension and attached it to the card base, with the bottom half I cut about 1/4" off and adhered it to the base of the card creating a gap, making sure the bottom edge of the top layer lined up with the bottom edge of the card base.

I did a dry run for the placement of the die cut images, once I was happy with the placement I adhered it to the card.
