Below is the colour palette for this challenge which was chosen by the Colour INKspiration team member Lou Kitzelman.
I love the colours in this challenge and it didn't take me long to come up with a card, I went for something plain and simple and added a little bit of dimension to the card.I stamped and die cut my images using the colours above.
I then used the Basic Borders dies and die cut my top layer creating two pieces.
I adhered a scrap piece of Fresh Freesia onto the card base.
I put foam adhesive to the back of the top half of the top layer to give some added dimension and attached it to the card base, with the bottom half I cut about 1/4" off and adhered it to the base of the card creating a gap, making sure the bottom edge of the top layer lined up with the bottom edge of the card base.
I did a dry run for the placement of the die cut images, once I was happy with the placement I adhered it to the card.
So what do you think? Do you love these colours? Then why not play along and share your creation on the Colour INKspiration Facebook page. Hope to see you at the next challenge.Thank you for stopping by,
