12 Days of Christmas

This is project number 7, I decorated a styrofoam Christmas tree that I bought from Spotlight, our local craft store, it comes in a pack of three. I cut 1/2" strips from the Painted Christmas DSP in 4 lengths, 4 x 1/2, 3 1/2 x 1/2, 3 x 1/2 & 2 1/2 x 1/2.  Once all the pieces were cut, I used the bone folder and curled each piece. I used a glue gun and glued the largest strips starting at the base, I only glued one layer around the base, (looking at it now, I should've had two layers of the largest strip)I used 13 strips at the base, so it will depend on how large your Christmas Tree is, mine was about 4 1/4 high. I decorated the tree with gold and silver beads and the stars and bows I die cut using the Stockings dies, and the snowflake I cut from the Sale-A-Bration DSP Peaceful Prints. This is a nice way of using up your scraps. Well, it was a nice and easy but fiddly project.

Below is the list of products used to make this project.

Thank you for stopping by, I will be back with project number 8.

Take care and stay safe,

Cheers,

Fiona
