Fiona Rozario: 12 Days of Christmas

This is Project number 4, sorry it's taken me this long to post my projects. I made this card using Calypso Coral and Real Red, normally not colours that I would combine together, I just didn't know what I wanted to make for this project, so I challenged myself to use colours that I don't normally use, do I like this card? mmmmm I would say it's not my favourite, however I like the accent piece with the Poinsettias and the Birds, I'm loving the Birds, they look so cute.

I made this a 5x7 card, for the first layer I cut a Basic white cardstock measuring 6 3/4 x 4 3/4 . I then cut three panels from the Painted Christmas DSP measuring 4 1/8 x 1 5/8 and backed it with Real Red cardstock measuring 4 1/4 x 1 3/4 . I then evenly spaced out the three panels and adhered it to the top layer. I die cut 2 medium Poinsettias and 1 small Poinsettia and adhered them slightly off centre and did the same for the 4 small poinsettias. The two birds I die cut from the Beautiful Trees dies and the decorative circle is from the Painted Labels Dies, for the sentiment inside I used the Perfectly Plaid stamp set.
