Hello My crafty Friends and welcome to my Blog again. Today I'm sharing a card that I made using the colours from the Colour INKspiration challenge #ci142. I made two cards for the challenge but as we are only allowed to enter one card per challenge this is the card that didn't make the entry, well I chose not to post this card, I hope you like it and if so please place a comment below.
SUPPLIES USED
Basic White cardstock
Smokey Slate cardstock
Scraps of Shaded Spruce and Soft Succulent cardstock
Irresistible Blooms Bundle
Well let's get to it:
Card Base 5 7/8 " x 4 1/4"
Layer 1 Smokey Slate 5 1/2" x 3 3/4"
Top Layer Basic White 5 3/8" x 3 5/8", dry embossed using the Time Worn type 3d embossing folder.
I stamped the large & small floral image from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set with V
ersamark and applied white emboss powder and heat set it, I die cut the flowers and shaped them using my bone folder. I then die cut the leaves using the Meadow dies from scraps of Shaded Spruce and Soft Succulent cardstock, to give the leaves some dimension I used a sponge dauber and applied ink to the edges of the leaves, you can use any sentiment in your stash, the Birthday sentiment I used is from a retired stamp set. I embellished it with white pearl and some bakers white twine.
