Well, Well, Well, guess what, I won last weeks colour challenge, it was my first time and I was over the moon when I was told I was the winner, so here I am wearing my winner's badge proudly.
Now that my confidence is boosted I'm back again with another card for the Colour INKspiration challenge #130, I have to say, I did struggle with this palette, these are colours that I don't normally use, but I got there eventually, below is the colour palette set by the design team.
For my card today, I cut Blackberry Bliss cardstock in half for my card base, I embossed the Basic White top layer using the Quatrefoil tile embossing folder and adhered it to the base. I then stamped the flower images from the Colour & Contour stamp set and die cut the flowers using the Scalloped Contours dies. I stamped the leaves using the Christmas season stamp set and die cut the leaves from the Seasonal dies, the little flowers were die cut from the Flowers of Home dies. I embellished the card with Iridescent Pearl jewels. I can't wait for the next challenge. These colour challenges definitely push you out of your comfort zone, so why not give it a go and challenge yourself and if you do, make sure you use the hashtag ci#130.
