Monochromatic Insta - Hop Starry Sky

Woo hoo I'm back again for another Monochromatic Insta-Hop, it's the last of the 2022-2024 Stampin'Up! In Colours. Starry Sky is the featured colour for this hop. As with every hop my mind goes into overdrive wondering what technique or fun fold or layout to come up with and so far I have somehow managed to put a card together for the hop, this hop is run my the Crafty Collaborations Team.

This tri fold card wasn't the easiest to photograph, it wouldn't stand upright, it kept falling forward, so I took out a fair few photos and I still haven't done justice, taking photos is my least favourite thing to do, so below is the best I could choose from the many that I took out.

Monochromatic Insta-Hop Tahitian Tide

Once again I was time poor for this challenge, I had a busy day and created this card well past my bedtime, it was at 11 o'clock at night and I had only a few hours to get this card ready. I didn't have a plan or an idea for this card, so my go to place was Pinterest which was not a good idea, anyone who browses through Pinterest will know, you could be there for hours looking at anything and everything but want you went there for.

I created a very simple card for this challenge, I used the Elegant Borders dies, once I die cut the edge it didn't take me long to put the card together. I adhered a layer of basic White cardstock behind the card front. The floral image was stamped with versamark and then heat set with white emboss powder, I then coloured the flowers and leaves with the stampin blends.

This picture was taken out way past midnight and probably not the best time to take pictures, but I had no option, I will have to start planning for the next hop, until then CREATE INSPIRE SHARE

Colour INKspiration Guest Designer CI#160

Yay! I won the Colour INKspiration challenge #158 and below is the card that got me the title. I was over the moon and as a result I have been invited to be the Guest Designer for the Colour INKspiration challenge CI#160

I was under pressure to create something more awesome than the card above and I hope I have delivered. I love the pastel colours chosen for the next challenge CI#160

I'm happy with the card I've made as a Guest Designer for this challenge, and I love this style of card, it's a card inside a card. I have made a few cards using this style, what do you think? Do you like it? I got the idea from France Martin, who is a Stampin'Up! demonstrator in the US.
